Career: Engineer of the Department of Organic Chemistry (1991-1996); Head of the Laboratory of Environmental Monitoring in Chernobyl (1997); Assistant Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry (1998), Associate Professor of the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry (2003); Associate Professor of the Department of Medical Chemistry (since 2004).

PhD thesis: «Synthesis, structure, reactivity and biological activity of 2-imino-2H-1-benzopyran derivatives»(1994).

Doctoral thesis: «Synthesis, properties and biological activity of quinolin-2-ones, quinolin-4-ones and pyrrolidine-2,4-diones» (2013).

Scientific research:Development and optimization of methods for the synthesis of new biological active substances based on reactions of methyleneactive compounds; rational design of biological active structures based on virtual screening data and computer calculations of the prognosis of biological activity among quinoline-2-ones, quinoline-4-ones and pyrrolidine-2,4-diones in order to create new original and highly effective medicines.

Scientific achievements: The author and co-author of more than 100 publications in Ukrainian and foreign publications, including 10 patents on the methods of obtaining active pharmaceutical ingredients of nootropic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, antipyretic, antioxidant, membrane stabilizing, hematostatic and anticoagulant actions.

Awards:

Awarded with diplomas and gold medals at the VII and IX International Salons of Inventions and New Technologies (2012, 2013).
